Signing out of Clash of Clans can be a bit tricky because the game is linked to your Google Play (for Android) or Game Center/Apple ID (for iOS) account. However, here’s how you can do it on both platforms:
For Android (via Google Play Games):
- Open Clash of Clans: Launch the game on your device.
- Go to Settings: Tap the gear icon (⚙️) on the top right corner of the Clash of Clans home screen.
- Google Play Sign-In Button: In the settings menu, you should see the Google Play Sign-In button (it may say “Connected” or “Sign in”). If it’s connected, it will say Connected.
- Sign Out:
- To sign out, you’ll need to unlink your Google account. To do this, go to your device’s Settings.
- Tap on Accounts > Google > Select the account connected to Clash of Clans.
- Tap Remove Account. This will remove the Google Play account from your device, effectively signing you out of Clash of Clans.
- Clear Game Data (Optional): If you want to reset the game completely, go to Settings > Apps > Clash of Clans > Storage > Clear Data.
For iOS (via Game Center/Apple ID):
- Open Clash of Clans: Launch the game.
- Go to Settings: Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the Clash of Clans home screen.
- Game Center Button: In the settings, you’ll see whether you’re connected to Game Center. If you’re connected, it will say Connected.
- Sign Out from Game Center:
- Go to your device’s Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Game Center.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top and select Sign Out.
- Clear Game Data (Optional): To reset the game on iOS, you’ll need to reinstall the app after signing out from Game Center.
Using a Different Account:
- To sign in with a different Google Play or Game Center account, after following the steps above, simply sign in to the desired account and open Clash of Clans. The game should prompt you to load your village associated with that account.
This will effectively sign you out of your current account in Clash of Clans and let you access or create a new village.
